Peter created a basic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for the sales process and operations of Trunk Logistics. Over time the system was developed and more features were added, and the company noticed a dramatic enhancement in their efficiency. Additionally, using Manage My Moves meant the team were able to go entirely paperless.
With the paperwork gone, the Trunk Logistics team became much more effective at organising their workload. They were able to split and allocate tasks evenly, meaning the sales team could focus on converting leads to jobs with more speed and accuracy. This also meant that the operations team were able to allocate work to porters and drivers, as well as pay staff hassle-free.
Minerva Sarma began her role as a Data Scientist in February 2024 through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the University of Essex, Manage My Moves, and Trunk Logistics Ltd. Minerva is leading the development of our new system. Her work involves implementing advanced analytics and automation, as well as designing a modern UI/UX.
